Ummah
Ummah.com is one of the most popular Muslim websites on the internet. With over 10,000 visitors per day, Ummah required a rebranding of the website which including a brand new content management system for the main website and a skin for the forum. PCG Studios created an Islamic theme for the website and toned it with a wooden effect to give a natural feel to the website. We were requested to give a brown colour, so felt that a wooden effect would be very fitting and go well with the Islamic Theme.
We created the website with a magazine styled interface with all the latest stories and also inserted various modules to enhance the website such as search forms for Muslim businesses and included a TV channel. We also included feeds from the forum to keep the front page fresh, automatically. We created a custom skin for Vbulletin which had the same colour and wooden effect, which has been a big hit amongst its regular visitors. http://www.ummah.com
Muslim Globe
Muslim Globe is an up and coming social networking website for Muslims. With a growing daily visitor count it has already had small scale success and with plans to expand, we see further success for the website over head.
We utilised an open source content management system to create the social network, including features such as discussions, groups and profiles, it allows members to make friends and interact with one another.
We created a light blue theme and incorporated advertising and various modules to enhance the website. We created a new logo for the website and also banners for advertising over our network of websites, it has since grown everyday attracting new faces and within time it will snowball to become one of the most popular Muslim networking websites. http://www.muslimglobe.com
Muslim Green Pages
Muslim Green Pages required a fresh brand image, one which reflects the brand identity. Muslim Green Pages is one of the most well known Muslim Business Directories in the UK, and have distributed many thousand directories.
We had the pleasure of developing this brand new website, we were not required to use any content management system, all that was required was a number of static websites which were able to reflect the brand identity and we had to implement new features in partnership with MusPages, this included a google maps with search facilities, prooving to be a big hit amoungst the website visitors. This was part of a rebrand for Muslim Green Pages as the old website was not functional and was limited in its capabilities. Muslim Pages
MusPages.com is one of the largest projects that we have worked on, we produced an online business directory which was easily searched from and included google maps to find local Muslim businesses. We helped develop the brand to become a leading business directory within the space of 9 months.
The work that we have done on the directory has launched it to become the leader in ethnic advertising online, with a growing number of websites as part of its advertising network. We also developed a sales site which gave clients an understanding of the different packages available, as well as why there is a huge benefit in advertising towards the Muslim community. The website recieves thousands of hits per day, and the banner hits have well exceeded 10 million impressions. HDIslam
HDIslam.com is a revolutionary piece of technology for the distribution of Islamic video media. The website allows for very high quality broadcast of video with the ability to share content and upload content. Users are able to use the Web TV facility to create their own play lists so that they can watch multiple videos, creating their own personal TV Channel.
We opted for a heavily black background as the whole experience of the website, based around the actual video content itself, by providing a darker background the user is able to see greater contrast with the video and the page, making it alot more pleasurable than having a bright white background which can distract viewers from the actual content. Whole documentaries hours long have been uploaded making it much easier for users to find content without splitting them up into parts. HDIslam is in early days, but has already proven to be a big hit, with hundreds of users visiting in the first weeks. http://www.hdislam.com
